Gears can be used to control the speed of action, and gears also changes the direction of rotation. The amount of teeth each gear has affects the action on the gear it engages with. The driver gear(A) is called the input gear while the gear being turned(B) is called the output gear.

A wedge is a simple machine used to separate two objects, or portions of objects, through the application of force. A wedge is made up of two inclined planes. These planes meet and form a sharp edge. This edge can split things apart. Wedges are used as either separating or holding devices.

It is a lot easier to read the digital display than the fine lines on a traditional caliper. The digital caliper displays units smaller than an inch in decimals. That's fine for the units like 1/4 inch displaying as .25 inches. The little gem shown here is a digital caliper that displays units in fractions on the screen. It has three modes: fractional inches, decimal inches, and millimeters.

Cams are commonly used in mechanical toys, as they are easy to make and are very versatile. A cam now is turning in a circular and clockwise motion into a up and down motion. This is known as reciprocating motion. The cam follower will steadily drop before rising again. The whole process repeats as long as the cam keeps rotating.

A time clock or sometimes known as clock card machine is used with time cards to keep track of individual employee work hours and payrolls. In the early times, mechanical time clocks are clocks with stamping devices, while time cards are thick papers which are stamped by the time clock. Now, electronical time clocks stamp and display the date and month on the time card.

MECHANISM:Crank and Slider
This mechanism is composed of three important parts:The crank which is the rotating disc, the slider whichslides inside the tube and the connecting rod which joinsthe parts together. As the slider moves to the right theconnecting rod pushes the wheel round for the first 180degrees of wheel rotation. When the slider begins tomove back into the tube, the connecting rod pulls thewheel round to complete the rotation.MECHANISM:Bevel gears
Bevel gears can be used to change the direction of drive in a gear system by 90 degrees. A good example is seen as the main mechanism for a hand drill. As the handle of the drill is turned in a vertical direction, the bevel gears change the rotation of the chuck to a horizontal rotation.OKAY ,that is all 4 mechanism .SEE YOU, Bye!
